Teltronic reaches its tenth consecutive participation in the ETSI Plugtests

Zaragoza, May 19th 2026

Teltronic is participating in the 10th edition of the MCX Plugtests, an event organized by ETSI with the support of the Critical Communications Association (TCCA) and the International Union of Railways (UIC), bringing together manufacturers and other industry stakeholders to validate the interoperability of solutions based on 3GPP mission critical services standards.

These trials, held at ETSI’s premises in Sophia Antipolis (France), aim to verify the joint operation of different implementations in multi-vendor scenarios, using 4G and 5G networks and covering services such as MCPTT, MCData and MCVideo.

This marks Teltronic’s tenth consecutive participation in these sessions, reflecting the company’s reference position in the event, as well as its continued commitment to early standards validation and the development of open and interoperable solutions.

During the test sessions, Teltronic is evaluating its MCX NovaX platform, both client and server, together with its control centre, NG CeCoCo, and its private 4G and 5G networks. The tests focus on key aspects such as the use of eMBMS, mission critical quality of service, and various interoperability use cases in multi-vendor scenarios.

The functionalities under analysis include ad-hoc group calls and the evolution of communications towards emergency calls, in line with the use cases defined by 3GPP standards for mission critical services.

Through its participation in the MCX Plugtests, Teltronic continues to contribute to the validation of the mission critical communications ecosystem, collaborating with other manufacturers to ensure the proper joint operation of solutions in real environments.
