Teltronic won second place in the APTEL Inovar 2026 Award with the project “Ceará’s Critical Communications System: TETRA+MCX Integration for Expanded Coverage and Interoperability”. The recognition was presented during the 22nd National Telecommunications Seminar (SNT), held from October 20 to 22 in Rio de Janeiro.

The project combines TETRA radio technology with broadband mission critical services (MCX), expanding voice, video and data communications capabilities. This integration enables interoperability between teams and organizations and strengthens coordination between field personnel and command and control centers.
The solution developed with SAP/CE integrates a private LTE network, bodycams and the TETRA system across the state’s correctional facilities. This infrastructure enables real-time transmission of images and information to monitoring centers, supporting operational oversight and incident response. The body-worn cameras also provide voice communications through a PTT button and emergency calls integrated with the TETRA network. The solution serves all 37 correctional facilities included in the project, 11 of which rely exclusively on the private LTE network for this connectivity.
This achievement reflects the technical expertise and dedication of the entire Teltronic team, working alongside professionals from the partner institutions. The company thanks ETICE, CIOPS/SSPDS and SAP/CE for their trust and collaboration in developing solutions aligned with the state’s operational needs.
Teltronic also thanks APTEL for this recognition and its support for innovation in telecommunications. The award reinforces the company’s commitment to developing solutions that expand connectivity and support safer, more coordinated critical operations.
