Job Requirements
- Education: Studies related to Logistics or International Trade are preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and knowledge of import processes.
- Skills: Ability to work in a team, strong organizational skills, and time optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel).
- Experience using inventory management software.
Job Responsibilities
- Receiving, classifying, and storing merchandise.
- Inventory control.
- Reporting inventory movements (incoming and outgoing goods).
- Sending movement reports for billing purposes.
- Preparing orders and coordinating shipments.
- Communication and coordination with carriers and transport companies.
- Performing loading and unloading activities.
- Requesting and preparing transportation quotations.
- Following up on import and export processes.
- Reporting the status of imports and exports.
- Preparing and completing required forms and documentation.
- Sending monthly inventory reports to Accounting for reconciliation.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
- Performing additional administrative and operational tasks related to the position.
Teltronic – Mexico City, Mexico (On-site)
The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and consolidating new business opportunities, driving Teltronic’s commercial growth in Mexico within the Transportation and Utilities sectors (mining, electric power, water, and oil & gas). This role acts as a key liaison with clients, partners, and internal teams.
The position requires strong market‑prospecting skills, business development capabilities, commercial leadership, strategic vision, and a consultative approach to working on complex, high‑impact projects.
Main Responsibilities
Business and Market Development
- Identify and develop commercial opportunities in:
- Transportation: metro, railway, airports, urban mobility.
- Utilities: mining, electric power, water, oil & gas, and associated critical infrastructure.
- Open new markets with end customers, operators, engineering firms, and local integrators.
- Build and strengthen a network of commercial relationships within target sectors.
- Ensure proper tracking of the sales pipeline, opportunities, and forecasts.
- Support the team in key meetings and complex negotiation processes.
Opportunity and Project Management
- Oversee the preparation of technical‑commercial proposals and value propositions.
- Support the customer throughout the entire sales cycle, from need identification to closing.
Education
- University degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Energy, Mining, Systems, or a related field.
- Additional training in Telecommunications is valued.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, including team leadership.
- Experience in one or more of the following environments:
- Transportation
- Utilities (mining, electric power, water, oil & gas)
- Critical or industrial infrastructure
- Experience managing complex projects, long sales cycles, and institutional or large‑account customers.
