Sao Paulo, October 9th 2025.
The Government of Roraima, through Sesp (the Public Security Secretariat), signed on Wednesday, the 8th, a contract with Teltronic for the implementation of the Digital Radio Communication Network, which will cover all municipalities of the State.
This initiative represents an unprecedented technological advancement in the history of public security in Roraima, ensuring full integration among state security forces – Military Police, Civil Police, Penal Police, Fire Department, Civil Defense, and the State Department of Transit.
The new system replaces the old analog radios with a modern digital structure, offering greater coverage, signal stability, superior audio quality, and encrypted communication, ensuring confidentiality and efficiency in operations.

Governor Antonio Denarium emphasized that the implementation of the new network strengthens the Government’s commitment to modernizing the public security system.
“This new digital radio communication service will cover more than 40 locations, ensuring efficient communication even in remote and hard-to-reach areas. It is another important step to increase the efficiency of our security forces and provide faster and safer responses to the population,” stated the governor.
Public Security Secretary Carla Jordanna Rodrigues explained that the new network will allow real-time communication between teams from different agencies, including in isolated areas, in addition to offering geolocation and tracking of vehicles and field agents.
“This is an acquisition of inestimable value. We will have fast, effective, and secure communication in all parts of the State. We will be able to go from Uiramutã to Santa Maria do Boiaçu without losing contact. The capital Boa Vista will be fully covered by the end of October, and by December the system will be operating throughout the State,” highlighted the secretary.

Encrypted and Auditable System
Teltronic’s National Sales Manager, Ademir Borges, highlighted that the company is a global leader in digital communication and operates in 17 Brazilian states. According to him, the system adopts international high-security protocols such as TETRA and P25, which ensure encrypted communication, free from interference and with wide coverage, including in hard-to-reach regions.
“The system operates through repeater stations and a central controller, allowing real-time team tracking, operational optimization, and recording of all communications for auditing and investigation. It is a robust investment that places Roraima among the most modern states in the country in communication infrastructure,” stated Borges.

Governor Denarium stated that the project paves the way for new integrations in the areas of health and education, reinforcing the efficiency of public management.
“This project represents innovation, security, and integration. It is yet another demonstration of the Government’s commitment to modernizing the public administration and to providing increasingly agile and efficient services to the population,” concluded the governor.
