Ceuta relies on Teltronic to maintain its critical communications infrastructure

Zaragoza, December 15th 2025

The Government of Ceuta and Teltronic have renewed the contract for the comprehensive maintenance of the City’s TETRA radio communications network, a critical infrastructure that ensures coordination among security and emergency services.

The contract includes strategic services such as preventive maintenance, both remote and on-site for all equipment, and corrective maintenance with 24/7 support and response times that guarantee continuity and maximum service availability. It also covers hardware and software warranty, spare parts management, and an annual field coverage analysis to monitor system performance and detect potential service degradation areas.

Teltronic’s experience in managing this infrastructure since its deployment in 2009 has been key to the award, ensuring a highly specialized service tailored to the system’s needs.

Ceuta’s TETRA network, based on Teltronic’s NEBULA platform, is a complex and strategic infrastructure integrating base stations distributed across urban and mountainous areas, radio links, and a central switching and control node. The system has proven its value both in daily operations and in emergency management, enabling secure and stable communications and, in addition to voice services, offering essential functionalities such as messaging and GPS location for public safety and emergency agencies.

With this renewal, the Autonomous City reaffirms its commitment to a robust and updated system, while Teltronic consolidates its role as a leading technology partner in mission-critical solutions. The common goal is clear: to guarantee the continuity, modernization, and reliability of a network that is vital for security and operational coordination in Ceuta.
