AI, 5G, and MCX: Teltronic’s Proposals for the Upcoming CCW

Zaragoza, 9th June 2025

Teltronic, a Spanish company with over 50 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and deployment of critical communications solutions, will once again be present at Critical Communications World (CCW), the global benchmark event for the industry, which this year will take place in Brussels from 17 to 19 June.

Teltronic will showcase its latest solutions in private 4G/5G networks, MCX (Mission Critical Services) technology, and its well-established TETRA infrastructure offering, which this year is being expanded with a new base station, the GBS. Officially introduced during the event, GBS integrates AI to meet growing demands for performance and energy efficiency in mission-critical environments.

AI is present also in other Teltronic solutions, such as the noise cancellation feature in its handheld devices and the intelligent dispatch and incident management solution, NG CeCoCo.

The company will also use this edition of CCW to introduce NovaX, the strategic evolution of its MCX portfolio, designed to set a new benchmark in the value proposition for organizations requiring mission-critical broadband communications.

At its stand, Teltronic will feature a fully functional demo network, allowing visitors to experience how its technology continues to evolve to meet the needs of public safety, transport, industry, and other critical sectors.

Additionally, Teltronic will take part in the CCW conference programme with the presentation titled “Mission Critical Services as the Backbone of FRMCS: A New Era for Railway Communications”, where the company will share its vision and experience as a leader in the transportation sector. The session, scheduled for Wednesday at 16:35 in Theatre C, will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about Teltronic’s advancements in private 5G networks and MCX technology for the railway sector, including progress on projects such as MoySEST and Morane2.

INTERNATIONAL CRITICAL COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS

Teltronic will also participate in the International Critical Communications Awards (ICCA), the industry’s most prestigious global awards, which will be presented during the CCW event.

The company has received three nominations. In the category “Best Use of Critical Communications in Industry, Manufacturing, Mining and Oil & Gas”, Teltronic submitted its project for CENAGAS—a high-availability TETRA telecommunications deployment that posed a significant challenge, as it spans more than 9,500 kilometres of pipeline across 17 Mexican states.

In the transport category, the company has two nominations. One is for the work carried out on the Tren Maya, an iconic railway project in which Teltronic has deployed a communications system to ensure continuous land-to-train communications, while minimizing environmental and cultural impact in the region.

The other nomination is through its North American subsidiary, PowerTrunk, which led the New York City Transit (NYCT) project—the largest transportation system in North America. PowerTrunk deployed a TETRA network in the 700/800MHz band, marking a major milestone in public transport communications in the United States.
