The TELTRONIC LTE solution for Transport (LTE-R) is designed to comply with the demanding availability and safety parameters required in this mission-critical environment. In particular, it is able to support the different applications used by the rail customers, as for example, secure data transmission for CBTC signaling solutions, real-time video surveillance, remote monitoring and maintenance, remote management of the Passenger Information Systems, between others.
TELTRONIC has been involved in a long process to get its own LTE technology ready, developed independently of third-party companies and specifically intended for mission critical users. The LTE technology can be provided separately or seamlessly, integrated into existing TETRA NEBULA networks in a cost-effective manner, boosting the data capabilities of narrowband systems.
