P25 is a North American (TIA/APCO) communications standard developed primarily for law enforcement agencies. In recent times, P25 has also been deployed in a limited number of markets around the world. Available in both conventional and trunked modes, the technology is available in VHF, UHF and 700/800 MHz frequency bands. Currently, only Phase 1 (FDMA) solutions are available although Phase 2 (TDMA) equipment should be made available in the near future. Teltronic has exploited its long experience delivering state-of-the art Ethernet/IP-based solutions in the TETRA (TDMA) market to launch its NEBULA25 architecture which takes P25 to the next level. |
